After discussions within our two-member group, both of us have come to this conclusion:

We plant to start from the Wan Chai Livelihood Museum, which is supposed to be the first civil museum in Hong Kong. The director of this museum, Suki, ought to be our guide to the rich background of the Blue House. With her help, we might be able to interview some of the current inhabitants of the old house. The result of the potential interviews should lead to a story about someone who has lived there for quite a long time. The stories of his or her life can be linked with family albums or other sort of photos.

The next phase should focus on the neighborhood around the Blue House and the Wan Chai area, which are abundant in history, local specialties and indigenous cultures.

The issue of preservation of this old house and disputes aroused by it should also be given some places in the project.

Work Allocation

Fu is responsible for interview arrangement, question list filing and contact establishment.
Yan is for the interview conducting , soundslides structuring and organising.
Both of the two will contribute their ideas to the accomplishment of the final edition work.
